"Mary, did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you?"
These above words sung by multiple artists
this Christmas season really struck a chord this
year. Although Mary's "Yes,"
to the Angel and God did not come without great sacrifice and suffering,
that "Yes" to life was rewarded with the greatest gift possible
to mankind; Christ himself was able to reside inside her very being! And
through Mary's delivery of Jesus into this life, Mary was in turn blessed with
being the vessel of our deliverance to eternal life!
Just as Mary's "Yes," did
not come without sacrifice and suffering, neither will our "Yes,” to
Christ be without the same. But through giving our all to Christ in every
situation, we will also be given the greatest gift: the gift of eternal union with
the Holy Trinity! In return, the only gift we are able to give back to God is the only gift that is truly ours to give: our suffering. Offer
up your suffering and watch the amazing things that God does with it!
2011 has been a year of blessing
and growth; growth in ourselves, our relationships and our faith.
Throughout 2011 we have been blessed by the support of family,
friends, and in the hardest of times, have been cradled in the bosom of our
heavenly father and mother. Although we welcome 2012 with open arms, we look back at 2011 with thankful hearts
for our continued journey of growth as a family.

Kara is recovering gradually; We Praise God for his unfailing Faithfulness! |
